Delloro Contemporary Art is pleased to announce the opening of its new gallery space in berlin's Kreuzberg district with a live concert of the British artist Martin Creed accompanied by his band.

Martin Creed (Wakefield, 1968) beside his visual art works has also been known as an experimental musician since 1994. In this year he established his first band, Owada, which performed until 1999. Since 1994 he and his musicians have performed around the world and made several records, including last year's single Thinking / Not Thinking (Telephone Records), and his debut album Love To You, which will be released in May this year. In this occasion we will see the British artist on electric and acoustic guitar and voice, be on stage with Keiko Owada on bass, Ben Kane on drums, Anouchka Grose on lap steel/electric guitar, and Rob Eagle on percussion and video.

Martin Creed was born in Wakefield, England in 1968 and grew up in Glasgow. He lives and works in London and Alicudi, Italy. Recent solo exhibitions and projects include Nasher Sculpture Center, Dallas TX, USA (2011), MARCO, Museo d'Arte Contemporanea de Vigo, Vigo, ES (2011), "Paintings", johnen Galerie, berlin (2011) ‘Down Over Up’, Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh (2010); ‘Ballet Work No. 1020’, Traverse Theatre, Edinburgh (2010); ‘Things’, The Common Guild, Glasgow (2010); ‘Work No. 409’, Royal Festival Hall, London (2010); Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, Hiroshima (2009); Ikon Gallery, Birmingham (2008) and the Duveen Commission,Tate Britain, London (2008).
